We provide unbeatable service and top-quality products. Our designs, construction, and maintenance work is unique, functional and sustainable. All duties are performed intelligently and efficiently, and our #1 priority is safety.

Meet our team

Schmidt Landscape Services, Inc., established in 1997, is located in Belleville WI, a village just south of Madison. This location is home to our yard and nursery operations. The company is owned by brothers Eric and Tylor Schmidt. Eric and Tylor were born and raised in the green industry as the sons of a third generation nurseryman and a horticulturalist. The brothers have diligently built their business around providing consistent quality service.

Eric Schmidt
Owner

Eric oversees administrative operations as well as design and estimates. He enjoys working with customers to create beautiful and inviting outdoor spaces. Offering a wealth of plant and product knowledge Eric forms the building blocks of a landscape that complement your home and your specific style. Eric’s focus includes: sustainable landscaping including the use of edibles in the garden, perennial and shrub care, and both garden and hardscape design. Eric is a graduate of the UW Madison, and a member of the Madison Area Master Gardeners Association.

Tylor Schmidt
Owner

Tylor manages yard operations as well as construction projects. Tylor’s expertise includes: drainage, hardscape construction, and woodworking. His character is both detail-oriented and analytical. Tylor is committed to ensuring your project is completed properly and on budget. Tylor is a graduate of MATC and is a ICPI certified installer.

We know communication can be a barrier or shortcoming when it comes to many trades, and we're committed to doing everything we can to make sure everyone is in agreement and on the same page, every step of the way.
  • Deliverables: We are committed to producing a finished product that meets or exceeds expectations. We accomplish this with an informed and educated team, and by installing the best products available to us.
  • Commitment: Just because the project is done doesn't mean we are. If there are any issues or concerns, we work hard to address and correct them in a timely manner. We've heard of contractors who disappear when it comes to follow up, and that's not our style.
